Print Ads: Variety Magazine
In fall 2017, Dermstore sponsored Variety‘s Power of Women event. The sponsorship included two full-page print ads in two issues of Variety that fall. Our marketing team wanted to use one ad as an opportunity to showcase a new (but now defunct) offering: Glow by Dermstore. Visitors to glow.com would take a simple quiz and receive a three-step personalized skin regimen, developed by Dermstore’s medical advisor—which could then be purchased at a discount at Dermstore. The other ad was to focus on Dermstore, with a tie-in to the Power of Women issue. I ideated the ad concepts, mocked up a visual rough draft, and wrote the copy for each.
BeautyFIX Subscription Box
Dermstore offers a subscription box called BeautyFIX—a monthly box filled with an assortment of skin care, hair care, and cosmetics. Each box includes a flyer that explains the monthly theme and gives a few details about each included product. For the below, I wrote the copy included on each flyer.
Best of Dermstore Gift Set
In winter 2018, Dermstore released the first “Best of Dermstore” gift set—to be sold online and in select Target stores (Dermstore is a wholly owned subsidiary of Target) and at Dermstore.com. This set contained an entire skin care regimen—made up of deluxe-size and travel-size samples—for $24.99 (valued at over $100). I wrote the copy for the “belly band” that wrapped around the kit as well as the flyer detailing each product within it.

Drivester Landing Page
Drivester was a client planning to launch a car-buying app, intended to eliminate the need to visit a car dealership. The gist was simple: choose/find the car you want, select a financing option, have your new car delivered right to you. For this landing page, I collaborated with an art director/designer to quickly hook the website visitor, present the app’s selling points, and collect email sign-ups. I wrote all copy on the landing page, including the app’s tagline, “Car buying accelerated.”
